Sculpted and developed in 1922 from a natural rock quarry into a massive outdoor swimming area, the Venetian Pool is surrounded by shaded porticos and vine-covered loggias, with plenty of room for both swimming and sunbathing. The 820,000 gallon pool has beautiful waterfalls and caves, creating a relaxing and fun atmosphere for all ages. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the pool is about half a mile north of Biltmore Golf Course in the Miami suburb of Coral Gables.
